Dubai expects to welcome around 25,000 cruise ship passengers in 2002 to its 3300 sq. m dedicated cruise hub which is equipped to handle two ships simultaneously. Its deep basin gives Cruise lines the option of bringing in larger ships, especially in winter when it is a great alternative to the normally congested Caribbean islands.
